Helsinki Music Centre Foundation

The mission of the Helsinki Music Centre Foundation is to promote and treasure different forms of music through performances, mainly at the Helsinki Music Centre. The Foundation awards grants and scholarships for events and acquisitions that promote its mission. The Foundation is a non-profit organisation. The foundation is chaired by Deputy Mayor Paavo Arhinmäki. The chief executive of the foundation is Silja Nummi.

The Helsinki Music Centre Foundation was established in 2009. The foundation awards grants from its donation funds, the most remarkable of which was the one-million-euro donation received from the Pro Musica Foundation in 2010. The objective of the grant programme is to bring a variety of performances to the Helsinki Music Centre and to bring together diverse audiences.
